I mean… (sorry Julien for using you as an example) but in literally the thread suggested after yours https://x.com/julien_c/status/1862430852614914083 one can read from a CTO, someone with technical understanding (not a CMO or fund raising CEO), using the word “think” so of course people “believe” it.🤷♂️

Any recommendation on e-ink to teach?
I have in mind sketching, learning how to read, write (normally or calligraphy) but I imagine a lot more could, and maybe already, be done with such a screenless (kind of) yet computational medium.
Optional: 3D printed additional tools.

Also a good reminder that billions of dollars systems consuming unfathomable quantities of energy and water simply don’t get.
LLMs don’t have ToM.

I don’t want your “AI” (big quotes) “agent” (even bigger ones) to “chat” (really?) with mine to coordinate a meeting for us, CalDAV and interoperability suffices today! Enough with so called “intelligence” those are not hard problems, just business strategies locking users.

thing that we cherish, again creativity and imagination, but also maybe even deeper than that, the means to create.
When a billionaire can outright consider buying it all, IMHO it is a flagrant showcase of failure.
Pay the artists, yes, lock creatives out, no.

… and that’s why we need Open D&D.
Whenever we rely on proprietary systems, not just for code but even for culture, we are setting ourselves collectively up for failure by locking creativity. This is deeply dangerous, teaching kids & adults alike that imagination is a product. https://x.com/NebsGoodTakes/status/1862256740626305369

What if… you can draw in 3D today, but what if in addition to sketch the case of a circuit, you could draw the signal traces too?
What about writing down the idea, sketching the casing and the circuit with the same single tool, a pen? ✏️🤔
